Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) today released its latest ad, “Sarah’s Letter,” as part of its multi-phase campaign to make sure members of Congress deliver on their campaign promises to lower drug prices.

In this ad, Sarah, a life-long diabetes patient, writes to her congressman about the impact of out-of-control insulin prices on her daily life. Calling Big Pharma’s price-gouging tendencies “shameful,” Sarah writes:

“Big Pharma is price-gouging people like me.  I have no choice, if I don’t have my medication, I will die.  Taking advantage of people like me for profit is shameful and it needs to stop.  Everyone should be able to afford their medication.”

She continued:

“You said you were going to do something about drug prices.  Keep your commitment. Hold Big Pharma accountable.”
