CSRXP AD CAMPAIGN: AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE WAITED LONG ENOUGH; CONGRESS MUST HOLD BIG PHARMA ACCOUNTABLE

Seven-Figure Campaign Calls on Lawmakers to Reject Big Pharma’s Blame Game and Deliver on Repeated Promises to Lower Prescription Drug Prices

Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) announced the start of a five-month, seven-figure advertising campaign Thursday in Washington, D.C. and target states encouraging lawmakers to deliver on repeated promises to lower prescription drug prices and hold Big Pharma accountable.

“The American people face an escalating crisis of prescription drug affordability while Big Pharma continually doubles down on egregious pricing practices, anti-competitive behavior and bogus blame game rhetoric designed to evade accountability,” said CSRxP executive director Lauren Aronson. “Members of Congress have made repeated promises to lower prescription drug prices and hold Big Pharma accountable. The American people have waited long enough and are watching closely ahead of approaching midterm elections to see if lawmakers will meet the moment to advance overdue, market-based drug pricing solutions that hold Big Pharma accountable.”
