The Impact of Rising Drug Costs on Patients, Providers and Public Programs
The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP), a project of the National Coalition on Health Care, is hosting a Congressional briefing on Thursday, April 9.
The briefing features a panel of healthcare professionals and industry experts the opportunity to offer first-hand perspectives on how high drug costs are impacting:
- Patients and their ability to access the care they need;
- Providers and their ability to prescribe the best treatment plan for their patient and
- Public programs’ abilities to best serve their beneficiaries.
This briefing falls inline with CSRxP’s mission to spark a national dialogue about the need to find market-driven solutions to the problems caused by the onslaught of new high-priced prescription medicines.
