Time for the Administration and Congress to Convert Promises Made Into Promises Kept
Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) issued a statement Friday on the release of President Biden’s Fiscal Year 2022 budget.
“CSRxP commends President Biden for renewing his commitment to lowering prescription drug prices in his administration’s first budget,” said CSRxP executive director Lauren Aronson. “From the campaign trail to the joint address to Congress, to this budget, the president has consistently acknowledged the urgent need for Washington to hold Big Pharma accountable and deliver relief for American patients. Now is the time for Congress and the administration to convert promises made to lower drug prices into promises kept.”
