Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) released a statement Thursday on the introduction of a package of health care legislation from U.S. Senate Committee on Health Care, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Chairman Alexander and Ranking Member Murray.
“We appreciate the bipartisan commitment of Chairman Alexander and Ranking Member Murray to lowering prescription drug prices for millions of Americans,” said CSRxP executive director Lauren Aronson. “Tackling the crisis of rising prescription drug prices with market-based solutions that hold Big Pharma accountable and increase competition are critical for American patients struggling to afford their medications. We are reviewing the proposals in the draft and look forward to working with the Committee on this package.”
