CSRXP AD BLITZ: LAWMAKERS MUST HOLD BIG PHARMA ACCOUNTABLE NOW

Campaign Calls for Promises Made to the American People to Lower Prescription Drug Prices to Become Promises Kept

Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) launched new television and digital advertising Tuesday encouraging policymakers to hold brand name drug companies accountable. The ad blitz, part of CSRxP’s Promises Made campaign, will target Washington, D.C. and ten states, including Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, New Hampshire, New Jersey and West Virginia.

“Policymakers in Washington promised the American people action to lower prescription drug prices and hold Big Pharma accountable,” said CSRxP executive director Lauren Aronson. “The millions of Americans who cannot afford their medications as a result of Big Pharma’s egregious price hikes, that continued during the pandemic, are counting on promises made to become promises kept.”
